We're Finally in Ireland!!!

After waiting for a long time to get over here, Karen and I have finally arrived in Dublin. We've got a terrific place to live and are looking forward to having friends and family visit, and maybe do some travel in Europe.

Click on the link way up on the right to see some highlight pictures of our first couple weeks in Dublin. Below is the block of houses where we live just south of Dublin City Center. The back gate of our courtyard/backyard opens up to the Grand Canal. There's also a picture of our place from the back. We got to see a dinner river boat go through the locks right at our back gate.

We expect we'll be here for at least 6 months. There is a chance our stay will last beyond March into April 2007.

Our first weekend we just tried to get settled, put our clothes and things away and did some walking around Dublin City Center to see what was around. We're right to the south of St. Stephens Green and Grafton Street. This is a really nice part of Dublin, and we're thrilled to be here.
